Hi! My name is Stephanie Svoboda, and I am originally from Euclid, Ohio, but have lived in Miami, FL, since 2010. I earned my clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Florida International University (FIU), and I also hold a master's degree in exercise science with a focus on strength and conditioning from Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, I earned my Educational Specialist degree from FIU, and I am currently a PhD candidate. As a licensed physical therapist in Florida, I specialize in orthopedic rehabilitation and am a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. I am also a Certified Manual Therapist, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), a certified USA Olympic Weightlifting Coach, and a certified Mindfulness Sports Performance Coach. My qualifications allow me to provide a range of effective physical therapy services, including various modalities such as blood flow restriction, dry needling, kinesiology tape, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.
I enjoy working with patients of all ages and fitness levels, helping them recover from a variety of musculoskeletal conditions through tailored orthopedic rehabilitation techniques. I educate my patients about movement, exercise, health, and wellness to empower them to take control of their own care. As a former NCAA DI soccer player and recreational bodybuilder, I now enjoy lifting weights at the South Dade YMCA. If I am not at the YMCA, you will find me at home with my husband and our pets.
