Hi! My name is Stephanie Svoboda, and I am originally from Euclid, Ohio, but have lived in Miami, FL, since 2010. I earned my clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Florida International University (FIU) and a master's degree in exercise science with an emphasis in strength and conditioning from Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, I earned my Educational Specialist degree from FIU, and I am currently a PhD candidate. I am a licensed physical therapist in Florida, a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, a Certified Manual Therapist, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), a certified USA Olympic Weightlifting Coach, and a certified Mindfulness Sports Performance Coach. I am also certified to use various physical therapy modalities, including blood flow restriction, dry needling, kinesiology tape, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.
I enjoy working with patients of all ages and fitness levels, helping them recover from a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. I educate patients about movement, exercise, health, and wellness to empower them to take control of their own care. As a former NCAA DI soccer player and recreational bodybuilder, I now enjoy lifting weights at the South Dade YMCA. If I am not at the YMCA, you will find me at home with my husband and our pets.

To enhance society by providing care and education about movement, exercise, health, and wellness
to individuals of all ages and abilities.
